Such is the agenda of today’s Parliament sitting

The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) of the Federal Parliament is still sitting today.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting has been scheduled for 3 p.m.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand stated that the Nepal Citizenship (First Amendment) Bill 2079 is on the agenda at today’s meeting. Earlier in the meeting, Home Minister Khand presented the Citizenship Bill to the House.

Speaker Agni Sapkota directed the Parliament Secretariat to begin the election process for the vacant post of Deputy Speaker at yesterday’s meeting. The election for the Deputy Speaker will begin today.
