KATHMANDU: Ishwar Mandir Institution in Kathmandu has distributed medical equipment to Bharatpur State Hospital. Imaging Parents, a Nepali organization based in Australia, has distributed two sets of electrolyte analyzer equipment to test blood for a variety of sensitive diseases.

Shankar Prasad Koirala, former finance minister and patron of Ishwor Mandir Institution, spoke on the occasion, saying he was pleased to donate the equipment to Bharatpur Hospital, which is a hub of health services and expressed confidence that it would benefit the poor. He stated that the organization that launched an e-learning campaign in government schools will now promote both education and health.

He stated that the hospital is willing to collaborate in the field of services. Prof Dr Krishna Prasad Poudel, the hospital’s chief, praised the generosity of those who assisted in the development of Bharatpur Hospital.

Pramesh KC, the organization’s chairperson, and volunteer Arohan Narasimha Khadka stated that the organization’s activities will now be focused on remote areas. He stated that education and health activities will now be carried out in collaboration with the Ishwor Mandir Institution and Amazing Parents.

Electrolyte analyzer equipment is said to be worth around Rs 1 million on the market.
