Budget of seven state releasing today
The state government stated that it prepared the budget by establishing priorities based on their respective states.
KATHMANDU: All the seven state governments of the country are releasing the budget for the fiscal year 079/80 on Wednesday. The state government will make the annual budget public today, as required by the constitution.
According to the constitution, after the federal government announces the budget on May 29, the state government will make the budget public on June 15. Simultaneously, the state government has implemented policies and programs.
The state government stated that it prepared the budget by establishing priorities based on their respective states.
Agriculture, tourism, roads, drinking water, and job creation are all top priorities. The state’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning is scheduled to present the budget in the state.
The state government is presenting the budget based on the ceiling set by the union budget. The combined current budget of the seven state governments is Rs 261 billion.
