Alternative to Urea Grain Fertilizer: India to supply 500,000 liters of nano urea

KATHMANDU: As an alternative to sack urea granular fertilizer, nano urea soluble fertilizer has entered the market. Mahindra Raya Yadav, Nepal’s Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, stated that Indian-produced manure is now available in the Biratnagar region.
“It is now available in the market in the eastern part of Biratnagar as an alternative to sack urea fertilizer,” he said in response to a question on the budget debate in Parliament.
According to him, one acre of land will be supplied with nitrogen by the nano urea, which costs Rs 800 per liter.
“We can use 1 liter of nano urea instead of 1 sack of urea fertilizer,” he said. Later, when we went to India, India gave us permission to provide 500,000 liters of various urea. ‘
He said that it would be necessary to produce manure within the country as there would be a shortage of manure every year. He said that the Board of Investment has started the process including study for this.
