Government raises vehicle fares yet again
The fare for passenger vehicles has increased by 2.5 percent, according to the department.
KATHMANDU: The government has raised public transportation fares once more.
On Friday, the Department of Transportation Management issued a notice raising the fares of passenger and freight vehicles in other states.
The fare for passenger vehicles has increased by 2.5 percent, according to the department.
According to the department, freight vehicles on hilly roads have increased by 3.3 percent, while freight vehicles on Terai roads have increased by 3.7 percent.
