Price of gold rose by 900 per tola

KATHMANDU: Today, the price of Chhapwal gold in circulation has risen by Rs 900 per tola to Rs 98,500 per tola in the gold and silver market.

The previous day, the yellow metal was trading at Rs 97,600 per tola. According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the price of Tejabi gold is currently set at Rs. 98,000 per tola. On the previous day, it was priced at Rs 97,100 per tola.

According to the federation, the price of silver today increased by Rs 25 per tola over the previous trading day, reaching Rs 1,290 per tola.

Gold is currently trading at around $1,867 per tola on the international market.
