Two policemen killed in road collision

Prakash Rai, 26, of Pathari-Shanischare-8, Morang, and Jituhang Rai, 26, of Shadananda, Bhojpur, have been identified as the deceased.

KATHMANDU: MAY. 25 – Two policemen were killed in a collision with a passenger bus in Jhapa on Wednesday.

According to Basanta Pathak, Deputy Superintendent of Police and District Police Office Spokesperson, Jhulke Devi Yatayat (Bus) of 1 Kha 7187 collided head-on with a motorcycle of State 1-02040 Pa 7149 this morning on Jhapa’s Shivasatakshi-Dharampur Road.

Prakash Rai, 26, of Pathari-Shanischare-8, Morang, and Jituhang Rai, 26, of Shadananda, Bhojpur, have been identified as the deceased.

The bus and its driver have been nabbed by police.
