Singh & Sthapit battling, with Balen leading with 45,613 votes in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: MAY. 23 – Balendra Sah, an independent candidate, is leading the mayoral race in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

According to the most recent results, Congress candidate Sirjana Singh is ranked second. Sirjana secured 27,183 votes, while Sthapit secured 26,309 votes. Sirjana has 874 more votes than Keshav.

Balen is far ahead of them in the first place. His symbol, ‘Lauro,’ has received 45,613 votes. Although Balen’s percentage of Congress and UML votes was slightly lower last time, the lead is still very vast. Balen and Sirjana differ by 18,430 votes.
