Balen far away, Sirjana surpassed Keshav

KATHMANDU: MAY. 22 – Balendra Sah, an independent candidate, is leading the mayoral race in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

According to the most recent results, Congress candidate Sirjana Singh has surpassed UML candidate Keshav Sthapit. Sirjana has secured 21,299 votes, while Sthapit has polled 21,008 votes. Sirjana has 291 more votes than Keshav.

Balen is far ahead of them in the first place. His symbol, ‘Lauro,’ obtained 38,333 votes. Although Balen’s percentage of Congress and UML votes was slightly lower last time, the lead is still very wide.
