KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairperson of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party (CPN-S), has admitted that his party did not achieve the expected results in the local elections.
He said this while addressing the Madan-Ashrit Memorial Day program organized at the party office on Tuesday.
He also stated that there was no good cooperation or support from the alliance’s constituents.
“We have yet to achieve the expected results,” he admitted, “The coalition partners did not want to cooperate with us.”
He stated that they would carefully consider the election and alliance cooperation.
“We will also review the coalition work,” he said. “By reviewing, we will be able to tell where we did well and where we made mistakes.”
He stated that regardless of the outcome, the party should be strengthened in the eyes of the people.
