Coalition’s lead in Apihimal, Lothyal won the chairmanship of ward-1
Lothyal was the coalition candidate from the Nepali Congress.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 14 – A panel including Pokhar Singh Lothyal of the alliance has won in Apihimal Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 of Darchula. Lothyal won with 183 votes.
His rival Bharat Singh Dhami of the CPN-UML polled 156 votes. Lothyal was the coalition candidate from the Nepali Congress.
Similarly, the Chairperson of the CPN-Maoist Center Bhagat Singh Thekre Bohora got 202 votes on behalf of the coalition in the municipality.
Dharmananda Manyal of UML got 123 votes, Devaki Bohora of Congress got 166 votes and Urmila Bohora of UML got 121 votes.
