UML’s lead in Rapti municipality of Chitwan, after alliance
With 300 votes counted in Rapti Ward No. 6, UML has the lead in mayor and deputy mayor.
CHITWAN: MAY. 14 – The counting of votes started at 1 night at Bhandara Secondary School in Rapti Municipality. Initially, the counting of votes for Rapti-6 has started.
With 300 votes counted in Rapti Ward No. 6, UML has the lead in mayor and deputy mayor. UML has maintained the lead in the preliminary results of the counting of votes. UML’s Govinda Prasad Kandel has got 152 votes for the post of mayor.
Shamsher Lama of the CPN-U received 103 votes on behalf of the coalition. Manoj Adhikari of RPP got 1 vote, Bikram Mahato of Swatantra got 5 votes and Kushal Pathak of Maulik Jarokilo got 1 vote.
Similarly, UML’s Menuka Pathak got 170 votes and Devendra Lama of Nepali Congress got 97 votes. Jit Bahadur BK got 2 votes from Swatantra. In this Rapti Ward No. 6, 3482 votes were cast. In Rapti municipality, 38 votes have been cast.
