Congress’s lead in Sotang & Mahakulung of Solukhumbu

KATHMANDU: MAY. 14 – Nepali Congress has taken the lead in two municipalities of Solukhumbu. Congress has taken the lead in counting the votes of two municipalities out of the eight local levels of the district.

Surya Kulung, the Congress candidate in Mahakulung Rural Municipality, got 124 votes out of 300 cast. Sagar Kirati of the UCPN-M got 108 votes, while Bhakta Rai of the CPN-UML got 49 votes.

Congress has 300 votes in Sotang Municipality.

Congress candidate Khil Raj Basnet has received 149 votes. CPN-UML candidate Prakash Karki got 90 votes while UCPN-M candidate Deepak Khadka got 51 votes.
