KATHMANDU: MAY. 14 – The CPN-UML panel was victorious in Budhanilkantha Municipality Ward No. 1 in Kathmandu.

According to UML leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha, the party has won every seat, including the ward chairperson. The team of presidential candidate Surendra Lama has won.

The results were not made public. According to him, the UML candidate defeated the Congress candidate for ward chairperson by more than 400 votes.
