POKHARA: MAY. 13 – More than 66 percent of the votes have been cast in Myagdi.
Ballot boxes are being collected at the offices of election officials at all six local levels in Myagdi, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
Tej Narayan Poudel, Chief Election Officer, announced that the counting will begin this morning following the collection of ballot boxes tonight. According to the data, 66.23 votes were cast in the district.
It is estimated that 56,543 votes were cast across all municipalities. There are 30,032 female voters, 26,510 male voters, and one other voter.
According to reports, the remaining votes were unable to be cast due to foreign employment and relocation to other districts. This time, the district had 74 polling stations and 114 polling booths.
