71.64 percent votes were cast in Gokarneshwor Municipality

KATHMANDU: MAY. 13 – In Kathmandu’s Gokarneshwor Municipality, 71.64 percent of votes were cast.

According to the Gokarneshwor Election Office, a total of 24,285 votes were cast in the municipality, which has a total of 33,898 voters. In the municipality’s nine wards, 2675 votes were cast in Ward 1, 2200 in Ward 2, 3013 in Ward 3, 3139 in Ward 4, 3877 in Ward 5, and 3686 in Ward 6. In the municipality, there are 17400 female voters and 16498 male voters for a total of 33898 voters.

The commission has stated that voting will begin following an all-party meeting.
