Preparations for counting of votes in Pokhara & Birgunj from Saturday

KATHMANDU: MAY. 13 – The voting program for the local level election on Friday has been completed.

Although the Election Commission predicts that 20% of votes will be counted today, many local governments are preparing to begin counting votes only tomorrow, Saturday. Rain in many areas, as predicted by the Weather Forecast Division a few days ago, hampered polling.

The counting of votes in Pokhara and Birgunj will not take place today due to rain-related issues with ballot box collection.

Counting will begin tomorrow not only in Pokhara and Birgunj but also in the Lalitpur Metropolitian.
