Ballot boxes looted in Rautahat

KATHMANDU: MAY. 13 – Ballot boxes have been looted in Rautahat.

Ballot boxes have been stolen in Rautahat’s Yamunamai Rural Municipality-2. Tensions are high in the center following the sudden fled of a group of people carrying ballot boxes.

According to police, the people who fled with the ballot boxes left them after pouring water on the ballot box.

Election Officer Hari Prasad Sharma informed that polling was cancelled at the place where the incident took place.
