Voting halted in Sahidbhumi-6 of Dhankuta
Voting has been postponed due to a disagreement over the voting process between representatives of the Democratic Alliance and the CPN-UML.
DHANKUTA: MAY. 13 – Voting in Dhankuta’s Sahidbhumi Rural Municipality has been postponed. All three polling stations at Thakur Devi Secondary School and Ward Office have been halted
The polling has been postponed for some time due to a dispute between the two parties over the voting process, according to Dhankuta Police Spokesperson Chiranjivi Dahal.
There was a commotion outside while the voting was taking place in a calm environment. Voting was postponed due to concerns that votes were cast in the names of non-existent people.

Prior to the postponement, approximately 20% of the votes had been cast in all three centers.
The Chief District Officer, Chief Election Officer, and Chief of the District Police Office have all arrived and reached the situation.
