50% more votes cast in Lalitpur by 3 PM

KATHMANDU: MAY. 13 – By 2:15 p.m., more than 50 percent of the votes had been cast in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

According to Chief Election Officer Kiran Prasad Siwakoti, 55 to 60 percent of votes were cast in some wards.

According to him, 65 to 70 percent of the votes will be cast within the allotted time.

According to Siwakoti, the polling station was crowded in the morning but less so in the afternoon.

The number of people voting is expected to rise again after the afternoon.
