KATHMANDU: MAY. 13 – Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya, the Chief Election Commissioner, has stated that voting has not been postponed anywhere.
During the voting, there have been numerous clashes and disputes. The polling has not been postponed, according to Election Commission spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel.
He stated that the re-election went off without a hitch, even in areas where sporadic incidents occurred.
“With the exception of a few sporadic incidents in a few places,” the commission said, “voting in the local body elections has been going on peacefully and enthusiastically across the country.”
Voting has not been postponed in any of the polling stations so far.
