Price of gold dropped by 700 in a single day

KATHMANDU: MAY. 10 – The price of Chhapawal gold in circulation has dropped by Rs. 700 per tola in today’s gold and silver market.

The price of gold has been fixed at Rs 98,000 per tola on Tuesday, down from Rs 98,700 per tola the day before.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the price of Tejabi gold remains at Rs 97,500 per tola today. The previous day, Tejabi gold was traded at Rs 98,200 per tola.

According to the federation, the price of silver today fell by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,275, compared to the previous trading price.

Gold is being traded at around $1,863 per tola in the international market today.
