Siddhartha Insurance paid a claim of Rs 90 million to the construction company

KATHMANDU: MAY. 5 – Siddhartha Insurance Company has paid a claim of Rs 90 million for infrastructure insurance to a construction company.

Last year’s unseasonal rains flooded the Mahakali River, damaging a six-lane road under construction at Bhimdatta-12 Odali in Kanchanpur, a pond structure for an amusement park and a four-lane concrete bridge access road.
Based on the insurance provided by the company constructing the infrastructure appraiser has paid a claim of Rs 897.98 million.
The chief executive officer of the insurance company, Birendra Baidwar Chhetri, handed over the cheque to the representative of the insured Kumar—CFEC J/V, Sushil Kumar Shrestha.
