Profit from aviation fuel and kerosene will result in a loss of Rs 5.19 billion in 15 days.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 3 – The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has sent Nepal Oil Corporation a new price list for petroleum products.
Prices for aviation fuel and kerosene have decreased, according to the new price list. This will benefit the company in these two sections. However, as the price of gasoline, diesel, and cooking LP gas rises, the corporation’s loss on these products will rise as well.
According to the new price list, there will be a loss of Rs 23.2 per liter for petrol, Rs 40.13 per liter for diesel and Rs 1,050 per cylinder for gas. However, the profit will be Rs 2.81 per liter for kerosene, Rs 12.64 per liter for domestic fuel and Rs 64.69 per liter for international fuel.
In 15 days, the profit from aviation fuel and kerosene will result in a loss of Rs 5.19 billion.
The corporation has stated that losses will increase as the prices of highly consumed commodities such as gasoline, diesel, and natural LP gas rise.
