Five killed in bus-car collision in Dhading

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 25 – Five people were killed when a bus and a car collided on the Prithvi Highway near Jungekhola in Dhading’s Thakre Rural Municipality-7.

On Sunday, a bus (Ba 5 Kha 8443) travelling from Kathmandu to Dhading collided with a car (Bagmati State 01-026-Cha 2968) travelling in the opposite direction.

The accident killed all five people in the car.

The deceased have been identified as Dil Bahadur Basnet, 36, of Khaireni, Tanahun, Bimal Chandra Agrawal, 40, of Uttar Pradesh, Sadhana Agrawal, 35, Sandhya Agrawal, 40, and Rakesh Agrawal, 55.

Ram Pariyar, 24, of Dhading Nilkantha Municipality-11, has been identified as the injured, and he is currently being treated at Trauma Center Kathmandu. The injured person was on the bus.
