Century Bank to invest in Lower Chirkhuwa Hydropower Project

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 19 – Century Commercial Bank to invest in the Lower Chirkhuwa Hydropower Project, which will have a capacity of 4.06 MW. The project’s financial closure, which is the bank’s sole investment, was completed on Monday.

This hydropower project is promoted by LC Energy Private Limited and is located in Bhojpur, Shadananda Municipality, State 1. Century Bank has sole investment in the Lower Chirkhuwa Chirkhuwa Hydroelectric Project. The bank’s loan investment in this project is 70%, with the rest being the promoter’s investment.

Deepak Rai, Bishwa Mohan Shrestha, Kedarnath Karki, Dawa Jangmu Shrestha Lama, and the group are the project’s promoters.

The group is in the process of generating electricity by constructing a 4.7 MW Upper Chirkhuwa Hydropower Project.
