Terhathum Concern Society under the chairmanship of Dangi

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 27 – Mohan Kumar Dangi was unanimously re-elected as chairperson of the Terhathum Concern Society.

On Saturday, the society’s eighth annual general meeting in Kathmandu elected a new 21-member working committee led by Dangi.

Dilliram Dhungel has been unanimously elected as the senior vice-chairperson of the society, Ganesh Prasad Ghimire, Haripati Lal Shrestha and Chiranjeevi Khatiwada as the vice-chairperson, Keshav Kumar Bhattarai as the general secretary, Yogendra Kumar Kurumbang as the deputy general secretary, Birendra Kurumbang and Bhagiman Gurung as the secretary and Ram Prasad Bimali as the treasurer and Kuntadevi Phombo as the co-treasurer.

Similarly, Bunu Timsina, Tika Gahatraj, Sanjay Khatiwada, Lokendra Limbu, Kulchand Phombo, Bikash Dhakal, Krishna Bhakta Gadtaula, Tikaraj Karki, Suman Budhathoki and Bishnu Khanal have been unanimously elected as members.

The working committee has already been formed by all of the office-bearers.

Chief of State 1 Parshuram Khapung, Federal Minister of State for Health Bhawani Prasad Khapung, former Minister and Nepali Congress central member Sita Gurung, and others spoke at the society’s inaugural session on Saturday, wishing the society to play a more effective role and focus on serving the district.
