Distribution of relief items to 160 orphans by Helping Hands Service Society
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 3 – The Helping Hands Service Society has provided relief supplies to 160 orphans. On the occasion of Democracy Day, the society distributed educational materials to 160 orphans.
The society distributed aid through a program held at the Hotel Royal Century in Chitwan’s Bharatpur Metropolitan City-19.
The program, which concluded last Saturday with the slogan ‘Aafu Bachau Aarulai Pani Bachau’, was supported by Sherpa Sewa Samaj, Rai Mulghar Sewa Samaj, Pokhreli Sewa Samaj, Unity of Family Group and Ngolo Ngolsyo Tamu Sewa Samaj.
Around 160 orphans from Nari Sanrakshan Nepal and Sagarmatha Kindergarten have received educational materials, food, clothes, and blankets from the society.
Karna Bahadur Gurung, Ward vice-chairperson of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation-19 was the chief guest at the function presided over by Rajendra Gurung (Raj), vice-chairperson of United Nations and Senior Advisor of Helping Hands Service Society. The chief guest and guests praised the society’s work, saying that it is doing a good job that should be continued even today.
Since the time of captivity, society has been assisting those who have been unable to obtain food and have been suffering in various ways in various places.
