KATHMANDU: The best player of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will receive a car from Omoda and JAECOO Company.
For this, the NPL organizers, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), signed a sponsorship agreement with Omoda and JAECOO on Tuesday.
At a press conference on Tuesday, CAN announced its partnership with Omoda and JAECOO as a co-sponsor for the first edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
CAN Secretary Paras Khadka and Director of SPG Automobiles, Gaurav Sharda, signed the agreement.
Gaurav Sharda expressed confidence that this collaboration between Omoda and JAECOO and NPL would help promote and develop cricket in Nepal.
He hoped that as Nepali cricket continues to gain popularity and success, this partnership would support the achievement of cricket development goals.
The company believes this collaboration will play a significant role in the growth of Nepali cricket, helping to introduce talented young Nepali players to the international stage, and contributing to the development and success of the Nepal Cricket League.
Secretary Khadka of CAN mentioned that the organization of NPL has brought excitement to Nepali cricket, which has seen ups and downs over the past 20-30 years. He noted that this partnership will bring added enthusiasm among Nepali cricketers.
The NPL will begin on Nov 30, with the first match between Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Royals.
The matches will be held at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, and the NPL will take place from Nov 30 to Der 21 21.
