Fire in noodle industry

KATHMANDU: FEB. 12 – A noodle factory in Duhagadhi, Jhapa Mechinagar-14, has caught fire. Since 5 a.m. on Saturday, a fire has been raging at Mansa Food’s Mug Mug Noodle Industry.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Basanta Pathak, spokesperson for the District Police Office in Jhapa, stated that nine firemen from Jhapa and Morang are attempting to extinguish the fire. The fire brigade came from Ilam, Morang, and Sunsari, according to him.

Details of the damage could not be ascertained due to the fire, police said.
