Protests over the price of petroleum products rising

SURKHET: JAN. 27 – Agitations in Surkhet against the rise in prices of petroleum products.

In protest of the price hike, the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) Surkhet, which is close to the CPN-UML, cordoned off the regional office of Nepal Oil Corporation Surkhet on Thursday.

The office has been cordoned off demanding repeal of the price hike on petroleum products.

To protest the price hike, the ANNFSU held a sit-in at the Oil Corporation’s Karnali Regional Office in Surkhet for a while.
