Journalist LB Bishwakarma passes away

KATHMANDU: JAN. 20 – Journalist LB Bishwakarma has passed. On Wednesday night, he was rushed to Patan Hospital with a sudden heart problem and was reported dead by doctors.

Bishwakarma, a citizen of Ramaroshan in Achham, worked for TV Today Television. According to the deceased’s brother, Lalit Tamata, he was taken to the hospital after suffering a sudden heart problem. “We took him to Patan Hospital in the middle of the night after he felt difficulty,” Tamata said. The doctor did not provide details on how he died.

According to him, while testing the antigen of LB, the report was negative. Bishwakarma was also an active member of the Working Dalit Journalists Association and wrote on caste discrimination.
