Talks on Medical College Fee Dispute

KATHMANDU: JAN. 14 – After medical colleges began charging more than the permitted fees, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology began discussions with the concerned parties.

Under the chairmanship of Education Minister Devendra Poudel, officials of the Medical Education Commission, officials of the Tribhuvan University Institute of Medical Education Studies, the Dean of Kathmandu University, Chief District Officers of the Kathmandu Valley, Medical Education Practitioner Sunil Sharma, and representatives of students and parents are present at today’s talks at Singha Durbar.

Colleges charging higher fees will be taken action, said Education Minister Poudel.
