APF’s third consecutive victory over Gandaki

KATHMANDU: JAN. 13 – The departmental club APF has won the Prime Minister’s Cup T20 cricket tournament for the third time in a row. In the midst of a weak score, APF defeated Gandaki State by an exciting three runs to clinch its third consecutive victory.

In their third match, APF defeated Gandaki State by a low score of 93 runs. But with the bowler’s excellent performance, the APF continued its winning streak. Despite having an excellent opportunity to win, Gandaki lost 7 wickets in 20 overs and scored just 90 runs. Earlier, APF was bowled out for 92 in 18.4 overs. Pradeep Airee scored 17 runs while Aasif Sheikh scored 16 runs for APF. Similarly, Sundeep Jora and Sumit Maharjan added 10 and 12 runs respectively. Deepak Bohora was run out for 15 runs.

Kamal Pariyar took 3 wickets while Bishal Poudel took 2 wickets. Similarly, Chandra Poudel, Krishna Poudel and Subash Bhandari took equal 1-1 wickets. Chasing the target of 93 runs, captain Bipinna Khatri top-scored with 36 off 39 balls.

Similarly, Bidhan Shrestha scored 29 runs off 49 balls. No other player was able to score a double run. Kamal Airee took 3 wickets while Kishor Mahato took 2 wickets for APF. Similarly, Abhinash Bohora took 1 wicket.
