Minister Sodari’s son arrested over vehicular death case

DHANGADHI: JAN. 3 – Bobby Sodari, son of Dirgha Bahadur Sodari, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development of Far Western State has been arrested.

Sodari, 23, has been arrested in connection with the crime, according to DSP Bed Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office in Kailali.

Durgadevi Neupane, 95, died while undergoing treatment after being injured in a head-on collision with a vehicle (Bagmati Pradesh 01025 Cha 6655) driven by Sodari on Dec 17 in Tikapur, Kailali. According to DSP Joshi, Sodari was arrested for interrogation.

The elderly woman died on Dec 26 while receiving treatment at a hospital in Nepalgunj.
