It is certain that Bishwa Prakash will also be elected as General Secretary

KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – Along with Gagan Thapa, Bishwa Prakash Sharma has also been confirmed to be elected as the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress. It has been decided that Bishwa Prakash will be elected as the General Secretary by getting the second-highest number of votes after Gagan Kumar Thapa.

He got 369 votes more than the third-place Prakash Sharan Mahat. Gagan got 2823 votes and Bishwa Prakash Sharma got 1824 votes out of 4390 votes counted.

Prakash Sharan got 1455 votes, Pradip Poudel got 1303 votes, Minendra Rijal got 753 votes and Rajaram Karki got 100 votes.
