Gagan confirmed as General Secretary, Sharma’s chances are high

KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – Gagan Kumar Thapa to be the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress has been confirmed.

He got 2644 votes out of 4090 votes counted at the party office Sanepa. Out of 4679 votes cast, about 600 votes remain to be counted. But Gagan received 900 more votes than any other candidate. Due to this, Gagan has become the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress.

Similarly, Bishwa Prakash Sharma is in second place. He got 1685 votes. His chances are also increasing.

Similarly, Prakash Sharan Mahat got 1357 votes, Pradip Poudel got 1217 votes, Minendra Rijal got 706 votes and Rajaram Karki got 92 votes.
