Fugitive defendant in fraud case arrested after seven years

DHANGADHI: DEC. 14 – Kailali police have arrested a fugitive defendant in a fraud case after seven years.

Padam Bahadur Badaila, 56, of Godawari Municipality -11 of Kailali, who was absconding in the fraud case, was arrested from his house while he was in hiding, according to police.

He was sentenced to one-month imprisonment on 2071 BS, Jestha 25 (8 June 2014), and a fine of Rs 76,000.

According to police, he was brought to the Kailali District Court following his arrest.
