Parliament sitting, 6 ordinances being tabled
KATHMANDU: DEC. 13 – Parliament is sitting on Tuesday (tomorrow). On the recommendation of the government, the President will convene the Parliament tomorrow at 2 pm. The agenda of the meeting has also been released by the Parliament Secretariat. As per the agenda, six ordinances are being tabled in the meeting tomorrow.
Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Law Minister Dilendra Prasad Badu are presenting six ordinances.
Meanwhile, the main opposition party UML has indicated that it will block the parliament. UML parliamentary party leader and chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that the meeting cannot be held by keeping the UML MPs in the parliament.
UML has been calling the MPs of the Unified Socialists led by Madhav Kumar Nepal as non-MPs. Earlier, all the meetings of the convention were blocked by UML.
