Radio Kathmandu is now at one thousand watts

KATHMANDU: NOV. 5 – Radio Kathmandu 92.1 MHz has increased the transmission capacity to one thousand watts. U.P Lamichhane, chairman of Radio Broadcasting Company, said that the broadcasting capacity of the radio, which has been broadcasting for the past five years, has been increased to 1,000 watts.

The radio has been broadcasting news as well as informative, educational, entertaining and multi-lingual programs every hour and some of the programs produced by Radio Kathmandu have been aired on more than 100 radios across the country, said Chairman Lamichhane.

He also expressed his commitment to make the programs more sophisticated and audience-friendly.
