Fire at Karki Bhawan in Anamnagar taken under control

KATHMANDU: NOV. 5 – The fire at Karki Bhawan in Anamnagar has been brought under control.

The fire was taken under control with the help of the fire brigade. The cause of the fire is unknown. However, police said that the fire may have started due to an electric short circuit while lighting a lamp for Laxmi Puja.

Details of the damage are being collected and only offices are located in the building, police said.

Ranju Karki, the owner of the house, informed that goods worth Rs 3.5 million were burnt in the building.
