Nepal records 1,043 new cases, 12 deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: OCT. 6 – Another 1,043 people were confirmed to have coronavirus infection in Nepal on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health, coronavirus infection was confirmed in 849 people during 11,165 PCR tests and 194 in 4,300 antigen tests across the country.

At the same time, the number of coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 892,267.

Another 12 people have died due to coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 11,192.

Similarly, out of the 891 infected coronavirus released, 772,299 people, have been released from coronavirus in Nepal so far, according to the Ministry.

Currently, there are 16,194 active infected isolation and 467 quarantined people in Nepal.
