Women’s Asian Cup selection: Nepal playing against Philippines today

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 18 – Nepal is playing against the Philippines in the selection of AFC Women’s Asian Cup-2022 today. The match will start at 4:15 pm at the JAR Stadium in Uzbekistan.

In a press conference held yesterday, Nepal’s coach Gary Phillips said that he is confident of a good result as he has prepared a new and agile team. The Philippines and Hong Kong are in the group with Nepal under selection.

The top team in the group will play in the Women’s Asian Cup in India in February next year. Before the selection, Nepal had played two friendly matches against Bangladesh in Kathmandu, winning one and drawing one.
