Five Nepali have died in a house fire in Ohio, USA
COLUMBUS: SEPT. 14 – Five Nepali-speaking people have died in a house fire in Akron, Ohio, USA. According to 19 News, five people, including three children, were killed in the blaze on Monday.
They are said to be Nepali-speaking Bhutanese. Four people were injured in the fire. The fire broke out at 1118 on Linden Avenue in Akron at 12:50 am on Monday. A five-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 16-year-old student have died, according to a spokesman for the Akron Government School where they study.
A 60-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman also died in the blaze. According to relatives and neighbors, two Bhutanese families lived there. Yam Subba, a relative of the deceased, has come to Akran from Columbus. Yam Subba was one of the neighbours and relatives gathered in front of the house when the fire broke out on Monday. He has informed that his father has passed away.
