New Note will be distributed from Sept. 20 for Dashain

KATHMANDU: SEPT. 13 – Nepal Rastra Bank is to distributing new notes for Dashain. The central office in Baluwatar and state offices will distribute new notes to the public from September 20.

Similarly, the general public will be able to exchange new notes from commercial banks, development banks and finance companies. A person will be able to exchange new notes up to a maximum of Rs 18,500.

NRB used to distribute new notes to the public every year before Dashain. Last year, new notes could not be distributed due to the coronavirus epidemic.
