6 members of same family ‘murdered’ in Sankhuwasabha

KHANDBARI: SEPT. 6 – Six members of the same family of Madi Municipality-1, Kholagaun of Sankhuwasabha have been ‘murdered’. Teknarayan Poudel, a resident of Sankhuwasabha, said that he had received information that an unidentified group had killed six members of the family of Tej Bahadur Karki of Madi-1 using a sharp weapon on Monday night.

According to Poudel, a police team has been mobilized to the spot. “It was last night’s incident,” Poudel told Makalu Khabar. It is difficult to reach the police team as it is far away. A police team from the district headquarters Khandbari has already left for the site to investigate the incident.’

Tej Bahadur Karki, 58, mother Parbata, 80, wife Manmaya, 56, daughter-in-law Ranjana, 28, grandson Deepak, 10, and granddaughter Goma Karki, 5, were found dead in the attack, said Poudel.

Neighbours had informed the police after seeing everyone dead on Monday morning.
