Jageshwor Subedi is the Chairman of the Law Commission

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 26 – The government has decided to appoint former Justice Jageshwor Subedi as the chairman of the Nepal Law Commission.

A cabinet meeting held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar on Thursday decided to appoint former Justice Subedi as the chairman of the Law Commission, said government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.

He said that the meeting also decided to appoint Pushpa Raman Wagle and Solani Pradhan Singh as members of the National Planning Commission. He said that the meeting also gave permission for the clinical trial of the SARS-CoV-2 mRNA Vaccines and Cholera vaccines against COVID-19 in Nepal.

It has been decided to give the responsibility to the Vice-Chairman of the Planning Commission to virtually participate in the meeting on Least Developed Countries on behalf of Nepal.
