UML’s new group in Balkot, will it be 10 points implementation?
KATHMANDU: AUGUST 23 – After the Madhav Kumar Nepal Group reached the Election Commission for the registration of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party, a new group within the UML, including three vice-chairmen, has reached Balkot to meet party president KP Sharma Oli. Leaders including Bhim Rawal, Ghanshyam Bhusal, Gokarna Bista and Surendra Pandey have reached Balkot to meet Chairman Oli.
Leaders have called today’s discussion with Chairman Oli a decisive one. “After meeting the chairman, we are urging for the implementation of the 10 points,” said leader Gokarna Bista. “Perhaps this discussion will be decisive.”
Earlier on Sunday, Shankar Pokharel had taken the responsibility of implementing the 10-point agreement during a discussion between the leaders of the two sides. On the initiative of Pokhrel, Subash Nemwang, Bishnu Prasad Poudel and others, pro-unity leaders held talks with Chairman Oli. As the UML central committee meeting has already approved the 10-point agreement, the leaders are saying that there is no problem with the implementation now.
