Prime Minister’s directive to make arrangements for the rescue of Nepalis in Afghanistan

KATHMANDU: AUGUST 16 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed to make arrangements for the rescue of Nepalis in Afghanistan. Deuba, who is also the Nepali Congress president, has instructed to get information about the situation of Nepalis there and make rescue arrangements in case of emergency.

He said that it was the responsibility of the government to provide necessary coordination, guardianship and protection to Nepalis.

“It is the responsibility of the government to provide the necessary coordination and guardianship to Nepalis awaiting security and rescue,” Deuba said on social media. “The government will fulfil this responsibility with vigilance and seriousness.”
