KATHMANDU: JULY 29 – Citizens above 50 years of age are being vaccinated against COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley from today. According to the Department of Health Services, the first dose of vaccine will be given to the citizens, professors, teachers, drivers and co-drivers and those working in the emergency services who have been released earlier.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has designated vaccination centers in all 32 wards. A vaccination program will be conducted at Radhaswami Isolation Center Samakhusi, Bir Hospital, Nijamati Hospital, Teaching Hospital Maharanganj and Teku Hospital for the people of essential services.

According to the corporation, one can go to the designated center from 10 am to 5 pm with the required citizenship and identity card.
